From the The Arts and Ideas Society’s May 2nd lecture featuring Simone Rojas-Pick, Gallery Administrator for The Propeller Centre for the visual arts.

Ms. Rojas-Pick has also worked for Cube Gallery and Carleton University Art Gallery in Ottawa and is currently involved curating an exhibition at Gallery 1313. Ms. Rojas-Pick discusses the application process and what different types of galleries, juries and curators are looking for.

Also on display during this lovely Sunday afternoon was relapse - an exquisite painting by Mr. Shane Cooper of New Zealand. This work is now traveling back to Mr.Cooper forthwith and this was the last chance for viewing it in North America.

*warning* this work caused existentialism via proximity and several Historians have taken umbrage with the very imagery of the work.
